Overview

Vizard combines automatic highlight detection and vertical reframing with an editor for shaping the result. That makes it more focused than a general-purpose video editor: it helps users move from a long source video to social clips, rather than starting with a blank timeline. The editing tools still allow text-based trimming, timeline adjustments and aspect-ratio changes, so users can refine clips instead of accepting the automated cut as final.

Publishing connections span TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook Pages. Caption translation into more than 100 languages and brand templates support teams adapting content across audiences and maintaining a consistent look. Link sharing is also available. These features make Vizard most compelling when social distribution is part of the workflow, not when the main need is broad, standalone editing.

Key features

AI clipping and reframing: Vizard identifies engaging moments, cuts clips and reframes subjects for vertical video. That can reduce the manual work of finding excerpts and preparing them for social formats, though the resulting selection can still benefit from editorial review.
Flexible editing: Text-based trimming, timeline editing and aspect-ratio controls provide different ways to refine a clip. Caption translation and brand templates add localization and repeatable branding to the same workflow.
Publishing connections: Users can connect TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook Pages for publishing. Teams working across these channels can manage more of the clip workflow in one product.
API inputs and limits: Paid users can submit remote files and videos from YouTube, Google Drive, Vimeo and StreamYard. API submissions consume video upload minutes; the documented maximum source is 600 minutes, 10GB and 4K resolution. Those limits accommodate substantial source files, but minute consumption makes API volume a plan consideration.
Data handling: Vizard says videos are stored on AWS servers in California with AES-256 encryption and that customer data is not used to train its models. This gives teams concrete assurances about storage location, encryption and model training.

Pricing

Vizard uses a freemium model. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed $0, and includes 60 credits per month, one social media account, 60-minute uploads, a 1GB upload-size limit, 720p exports up to 10 minutes long and three-day storage. It is useful for evaluating the workflow or occasional light use, but one connected account and short retention make it restrictive for regular publishing.

Creator has custom pricing and is billed yearly. It starts at 600 monthly credits and includes six social media accounts, 600-minute uploads, a 30GB upload-size limit, 4K export and 100GB storage. It is a better fit for an individual creator or small operation publishing across several accounts, with higher upload and export capacity than Free.

Business also has custom pricing and is billed yearly. It starts at 600 monthly credits, supports 20 social media accounts, allows 600-minute uploads and 30GB files, and includes 4K export with unlimited storage. It suits teams managing many publishing destinations or needing room for a larger library. Paid team plans include priority support; all plans include basic email support. Since API access is paid-only and API submissions consume upload minutes, teams planning an integration should account for that usage alongside their regular uploads.

Platforms

Vizard is available on the web and Android, with API access for paid users. The web-based editing and publishing workflow suits teams working in a browser, while the API supports integrating video submissions into a paid workflow. Free users do not have API access.

Who it's for

Vizard is a strong fit for content marketers, creators, podcasters, coaches and agencies that regularly turn long recordings into social clips. Its combination of automated selection, editing controls, brand templates and publishing connections is most useful when the same team handles several stages of repurposing. It is less suitable for users seeking a general-purpose editor or for free users who need high-resolution exports, longer retention or API access.

Pros and cons

Pro: AI highlight detection and vertical reframing tackle two time-consuming steps in producing social clips from long videos.
Pro: Text-based and timeline editing let users refine automated cuts, while templates and caption translation support branded and multilingual output.
Pro: Publishing connections cover six major social destinations, reducing the gap between editing and distribution.
Pro: Paid API submissions accept several common video sources and support up to 600-minute, 10GB, 4K inputs.
Con: Free exports are limited to 720p and 10 minutes, with only three days of storage, making the free tier hard to use as an ongoing archive or publishing workflow.
Con: Free allows one social account and 60-minute uploads with a 1GB size cap, limiting multi-channel and large-source work.
Con: API access requires a paid plan, and its submissions draw from upload minutes, so automation is not an independent unlimited channel.
Con: Creator and Business prices are custom, so teams cannot assess their annual cost from the plan structure alone.

Verdict

Choose Vizard if your team needs to turn long videos into social clips and wants AI selection, editing, branding and publishing connections in one workflow. Its strongest case is the breadth from clipping through distribution, with paid API access for teams automating submissions. Look elsewhere if the free tier’s 720p, 10-minute export and three-day storage caps are too restrictive, or if your priority is a general-purpose editor rather than social repurposing.
